Ynys Môn’s men and women’s footballers are just days away from beginning their campaigns at the Island Games in Guernsey.

In recent years the Welsh FA have been generous in their support of Ynys Môn football, enabling both sides to play proudly in the national kit. This year the support from the national FA has grown again with the women’s side being kindly allowed to use Colliers Park in Wrexham for their warm-up match against the Isle of Man women’s side. This recently redeveloped FAW facility enabled the women to come together for the first time fully and use the excellent facilities in their build-up to the Games.
We would like to thank the FAW for their continued support of Ynys Môn football and we hope to be able to bring success in the colours of Wales, just as Mel McGinness did when he scored the winner in the Inter Games Final against Guernsey in 2019 (pictured below).
