Panad

This is a video series called ‘Panad’. These videos have been made to support Ynys Môn competitors, and those hoping to compete in the future, to help them develop further.

Our supporters Mersea to Jersey have interviewed a range of Welsh sporting individuals and discuss themes including the Island Games, working in sport, multi-event competitions and leadership. Through this series we hope that discussing the invaluable experiences these athletes have gained during their sporting careers will aid those of you wanting to build on your current abilities to put yourselves in the best position for Guernsey 2021 and future Island Games.

Videos will be released every Wednesday for 5 weeks.

So grab a cuppa, sit back and enjoy!

The first episode is a chat with Dom Breen-Turner about his experiences at the Island Games and especially his passion for the Games.

In Episode 2 Pete and Dave, of Mersea to Jersey, talk to former paralympian Nathan Stephens about competing in multi-sport competitions as well as how competing in sport has influenced his decision making whilst working for Disability Sport Wales

In episode 3 Pete and Dve have a really interesting chat with former Wales women’s rugby captain @rachtaylor13 about leadership.

Episode 4 features a chat with former Ynys Môn competitor and media Manager Emma Roberts about her experiences of the Island Games and how they’ve helped her when working within sport.
