Mersea to Jersey

Meet our biggest fans – Merseameetring-dai-mon to Jersey (Three brothers and a bloke called Dave)

In 2014 they first decided they would travel to the Jersey Island Games together in 2015. It was during the planning that they decided to lend their support to one of the islands for the duration of the Games. After much deliberation between them they decided to support Ynys Môn.

Why Mersea to Jersey? – Their name came from the fact that they did all of their planning on Mersea Island a small island part of Essex in the UK where Rob is a resident with his family.

They were blown away by the Island Games in Jersey and there and then decided they’d be going to Gotland 2017 and would continue to support Ynys Môn. Since then they’ve also been to the Inter Games for gymnastics in 2015, the Ynys Môn 2019 football tournament and the Gibraltar 2019 Island Games. They’ll be heading to Guernsey in 2021 to continue their fantastic support.
